Wine

Gather Your Libations

Wine, Women, and Bard Song is a D&D group which originally met in a wine bar, but now meets at Social on Main on the first and third Sundays of each month*. Although this establishment does have a bar, there are plenty of non-alcoholic options, and those who are under 21 are welcome.

* Unless there’s a scheduling conflict for the DM or not enough players show up

Gather Your Gal Pals

This group originated in the Ladies of Elizabethtown** Facebook group as a way to introduce D&D to those who had never played it before—or had never played the 5th edition ruleset before—but experienced players who are patient are also welcome.

** Men are also welcome as long as they are comfortable with being in a woman-dominated environment; those under 18 are welcome as long as they and their parents are comfortable with them potentially being exposed to adult language and situations that may arise in gameplay.

Bard Song

Gather Around for a Tale

The sessions are being designed in such a way that “drop-in” players are also welcome: pre-made characters are available to pick up and the setting allows for characters to come and go with little disruption.

To ensure that there is always a fighter, a healer, or a spellcaster available to the party in every session, the DM plays a bard NPC, which is the classic jack-of-all-trades who does EVERYTHING (just not as well as the dedicated fighters/healers/spellcasters, of course). As a professional storyteller, the bard also serves as a convenient foil for exposition and is the narrator of the Campaign Log.
